This site is a tribute to Heather Davies. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
Born in a small town, Heather was raised in a close-knit family. She learned the values of hard work, resilience, and compassion from a young age, helping her own parents while juggling school and friendships. Her childhood was filled with laughter, yet it wasn’t without challenges that shaped her into the strong woman she would become. She was the youngest of five children, Micheal, John, Steven and Lorraine.
In her teenage years, she began to dream of what life might hold. She travelled with friends, enjoyed being out on the sea and most of all time spent with family.
She married Ian Cunningham and had both of her daughters, she found herself in the most life-changing role of all—motherhood. Becoming a mom transformed her world in ways she never imagined. The joy of holding her first child in her arms filled her with overwhelming love and responsibility.
As a mother, she devoted herself to becoming the best mother she could be from scraped knees, all the way to teenage rebellion. Her patience was endless, her love unconditional. She enjoyed nothing more than a place where the family gathered for meals, parties and shared moments of laughter and connection.
Life was not always easy for Heather. There were times when she faced challenges—be it personal losses, or the never-ending balancing act of family and work. But through it all, she remained resilient, always putting her family’s needs before her own. Her strength was the quiet kind, always there, but never boastful.
Heathers wedding day to Gareth Davies was the happiest day of her life were she gained a bestfriend and a husband in one day. He inherited two daughters and remains a devoted step father a quality she adored.
They ran a sucessful buisness for many years while travelling the world, enojoying each others company and a love that would last a life time.
After a short illness in hospital Heather passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
